We added this laidback goat breed in 2023 on a whim. We were getting hay from our hay guy in Mercer , Pa and he said he was getting out of goats completely. He was selling off his entire herd and he had one buck he had saved from the auction to possibly breed. We brought home Boris that day. He has now grown into a 250 pound baby who doesn’t like shots but loves cookies. He also has the most impressive beard.
We added Natasha and Bonney soon after and just recently we added Sandy and Star. The last two are registered and we hope to get a native registration on Boris so we can sell as registered. Natasha and Bonney had their first kids this year and they had beautiful babies. We sold them almost immediately and we hope to do the same next January.
